Megan & Evan's Romantic Winter Wedding // Cleveland, Ohio

This next Ohio wedding was so much fun! I met Megan and Evan through mutual friends that are all connected through our college sorority, Tau Beta Sigma. What a small world! It’s so awesome to photograph another sister’s wedding day! ☺️ From the minute we met, I knew Megan and Evan’s big day was going to be a blast!

We started out at Evan’s parents’ home where all the bridesmaids and flower girl got ready. Both Evan and Megan’s family are the sweetest people you will ever meet! I especially loved chatting with Evan’s mom, and even found out her best friend was a teacher I had in elementary school! Again, what a small world! She also made all of the bouquets for the wedding party, which were absolutely beautiful!

After Megan got her stunning blush and lace dress buttoned, it was time to head over to the ceremony at Avon Isle. Inside, the ceremony site was a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. It was such a nice way to extend the holiday cheer! The ceremony was absolutely lovely; the flower girl and ring bearer were my favorite!

Shortly after the ceremony ended, we all went over to Edgewater Park where we took fun bridal party photos by the Cleveland Sign! This park is one of my favorite spots in Cleveland, because it overlooks the entire city in such a stunning way. That combined with Lake Erie also being a beautiful backdrop, it's definitely a treasure! Megan and Evan's portraits were so fun, because they are such a genuine, down-to-earth couple! Also, Megan’s dress was AMAZING for some twirling action!

We headed back to the reception for some dinner and dancing at Michauds in Strongsville, Ohio. My favorite part of the evening was when the bridal party and friends started doing the Bowling Green State University’s drum cadence on the dance floor! I loved their energy and it made me nostalgic for marching band all over again. Megan and Evan also did the Shoe Game, which is one of my favorites (we did it at our bridal shower)! The expressions and joy on their faces says it all.
