In college, I read an article that talked about how we are the average of the five people we are closest with. Essentially, it highlighted how our behaviors, perceptions, and ideas are shaped by those we keep in our inner circle. It really made me think more about the kind of person I wanted to be, and what the “average” of me looked like. Since then, I have kept this article as a focal point in my life, making sure I am purposeful with who I surround myself with.
That’s why I want to share my friend Kim with you. When I first met Kim, it felt like I was seeing a friend who I’d known my whole life. She has this super genuine, heartfelt energy that can brighten any day, and you can just tell from the photos the authenticity and warmth she exudes. I also really value how real and personable she is. Whether we are chatting about puppies or life goals, she is real, wise, and such a joy to be with.
Kim and I went outside last week and took some lifestyle portraits for her massage therapy business (yes, she's also a fabulous lady boss!). Luckily, the rain held off and we were able to make some magic before sunset!
Thanks for an awesome session, Kim! :)
