Getting Ready: Olmsted Falls, Ohio
Wedding Portraits: East 4th Street & The Cleveland Arcade, Cleveland, Ohio
Introduction:
As summer is quickly approaching (even with the surprise snow we keep getting!) I love looking at past weddings I’ve photographed to get me inspired and giddy before the season starts! Sam and Chris’s beautiful Cleveland, Ohio wedding is one of my favorite springtime weddings, and I am so excited to share it with you!
I met Sam and Chris in college at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio! We were all in the Marching 110 (the college’s marching band) and have so many fun memories playing music, enjoying Ohio University for the four, great years we were there! Additionally, Sam and I are both from the Cleveland area, about 25 minutes away from each other!
When I first started chatting with Sam and Chris about photographing their wedding, I immediately knew that it was going to be classic Cleveland, filled with love, family and friends. In their photography wish list, we had the downtown area marked as our portrait destination spot, and I’m so happy that the weather was wonderful for our time there!
Our day started in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, at Sam’s family’s home. What I love, is that many of the personal touches (like Chris’s cufflinks) were special and unique to them as a couple. After we traveled downtown, we started on East 4th Street, strolling down the way and capturing some candid moments outdoors. We then went into the majestic Cleveland Arcade where we took in the historic beauty (gush) of the architecture and romantic twinkle lights.
I hope you enjoy Sam and Chris’s Cleveland wedding portraits!
